Navigating Transformation

Navigating an era of profound transformation requires both foresight and critical reflection. Zukunft & Zeitgeist creates space for unexpected conversations across disciplines and perspectives, bringing together leaders, artists, scientists, and thinkers. Through these exchanges, the series helps participants better understand complexity and make sense of a rapidly changing world.

Zukunft und Zeitgeist

Navigating change starts with understanding the forces shaping our world. Zukunft & Zeitgeist brings together thought leaders from different disciplines for conversations that connect emerging trends with their societal implications. Topics range from the future of artificial intelligence and the energy transition to democratic resilience, leadership, and the role of imagination in times of profound transformation.By creating encounters between voices that rarely meet, the series opens up new perspectives on the technological, political, economic, and cultural shifts reshaping our societies. Each edition encourages participants to question assumptions, engage with complexity, and develop a deeper understanding of the defining questions of our time.
The inaugural event, Mission Energy Transition – Setting the Right Course, brought together Simone Peter, President of the German Renewable Energy Federation, and Andreas Jung, Member of the German Bundestag, to discuss how Germany can accelerate the transition to a climate-neutral energy system. Another edition, A Changing World: A Dialogue Between Art and Politics on Paths to the Future, featured Parliamentary State Secretary Rita Schwarzelühr-Sutter and artist Julius von Bismarck in a conversation about how AI, the transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy, and the power of imagination are reshaping our societies.
The series welcomes leading voices from politics, science, business, academia, the arts, and civil society. By bringing together people who would not typically share a stage, Zukunft & Zeitgeist creates conversations that challenge conventional thinking and inspire new ways of understanding the world.Featured guests include:
